David Class

Here’s an phone call from Reverend David from Family Worship Center in South Carolina about his Worship Guitar Class using our videos.

duration – 54 sec.

“My name is Reverend David Shultz. I’m pastor at Family Worship Center in South Carolina. We recently started a guitar 101 class and everyone fell in love with Ms. Jean. The way you teach and the way you worship is a blessing to us because we get to see the way you close your eyes and you truly worship and that is one thing we really admire.

We start all of our guitar sessions with a prayer and we want it all to be worship and to glorify the Lord, and that you being a good teacher in that and setting a good example in that even as you worship yourself on your videos we’re able to see it. It’s a real blessing for all of us here in South Carolina to be a part of that. We want to keep going and keep going and be really good true worshippers through our guitars. It’s been a real blessing to us.”

“My name is Rena Steinbeck from British Columbia, Canada. I purchased about 3 months ago your DVDs on worship guitar. I always wanted to learn how to play and worship the Lord even for myself and I’m just totally amazed at my progress in 3 months. Even though you are offering a refund in a year’s time, there’s no way I would be ever sending this back because I need them. I just enjoyed them so much and I’m so glad you’ve got the book now to help and all the helps you have available that can really help us on our way.”

duration – 1 min. 10 sec.

“Jeff Medina from Cedar Rapids, Iowa and calling to order kid’s lessons for my youngest daughter so she can learn how to play guitar. Jean got a great system here because I personally purchased the first 3 DVDs she had and I’ve been learning. I’m amazed at myself how much improved I’ve been and I really like the format of her DVDs, especially like the part where she encourages us to pray before we play it. God will give the talent that we need to be able to play and remember the notes. She’s been a real blessing to me and my life. Actually my family benefits from it too because my guitar sounds like something they want to listen to. It’s been a blessing to me and can’t thank her enough for putting this together. It’s been a blessing to us. I thank you, Jean, for putting this together and I’m looking forward to more of your DVDs as you continue to make these. Thank you.”

Cindy is the Children’s Worship Leader at Calvary Chapel in Barstow, but she wasn’t a guitar player. Well, now she’s playing and her family decided to join her too. Listen to her story.

duration – 48 sec.

“I’m Cindy Rogers and I live in Barstow, California. I’m the Children Worship Leader at Calvary Chapel at Barstow and so far we’ve just been able to do choreography and some karaoke type CDs because I can’t play guitar, but with volume 1, I was able to learn “Take My Life”. And then my daughter also has a guitar. She was eight when she started. Now she’s nine and she learned that song as well so the two of us can play in church. Then my son who is ten and since he has a bass, he wanted to play it. So him and my husband figured out what the bass line would be and we were able to play in church. It was such a blessing to be able to play actual play instruments for the kids because we don’t have a regular band for them and for us to play as a family has been such a huge blessing. it’s just been amazing! Thank you so much, Jean.”

John started playing the guitar at age 10, but still found the lessons very helpful. His comments are below.

http://worshipguitarclass.com/images/John-Eberly.mp3
duration – 3 min. 16 sec.

“Hi, I’m John Eberly and I live in Royal Oak, Michigan. I’ve been playing guitar since I was about 10. Basically just strumming and playing chords. The finger-picking techniques that I found in volume 1 and the ability to move the song slowly through taking place really helped me a lot even after playing guitar for all this time. I found it excellent, to start off with one or two chords in the very beginning . I’ve got the book right here. “He Got the Whole World in His Hands” and the way you graduate the chords from 2 chords to 3 chords to 4 chords and learn one or two at a time and using the ones you’ve already learned in the next song helps too, because it gives you a benchmark as how your progress is going. You can see that and are able to play the first 2 chords and in the next you don’t have to learn anything more until you get into 3 chords practice and that was helpful. I like the songs, too. The songs are that you’ve chosen are old standards in the church.”

John Eberly, Royal Oak, MI
