New Christmas Songs Lessons

November 16, 2011 By admin 9 Comments

Christmas CatChristmas is around the corner and I’ve always wanted to make it easy to play Christmas Songs. We have the Christmas Songs and Solos program which has lots of instrumental arrangements of Christmas songs, but it doesn’t include video lessons on how to accompany these songs to singing.

Would you like to learn easy to play Christmas songs for the guitar? I’ve asked on my Facebook page and learned that Terry, Christy, and Chris love ‘O Holy Night’. Tammy and Ryan liked ‘Do you hear what I hear’ and ‘Little drummer boy’. Chalmers suggested ‘Angels We Have Heard’. I’ve included all of these songs plus ‘It Came Upon A Midnight Clear’.

Here are the first song and excerpts of some of the songs in the program.

If you would like to get the lessons, the page is here Easy Christmas Songs For Guitar.

For the music of ‘Silent Night’ free, just request it from the form below.

How about “What Child is This”?
“Silent Night” is the all time classic guitar piece as it was written that way.
We really love “In the Bleak Midwinter” and would really want that one so we could play it!

    Thanks for asking!

    Hi Cindy,
Good to hear from you. ‘Silent Night’ is already there and ‘What Child Is This?’ is a great suggestion. I’ve never heard of ‘In The Bleak of Midwinter’. Will check that out. It nice to have new songs.
    God Bless, Jean

Aloha Jean, thank you for encouraging us to keep learning and worhsipping him with all our hearts! All my favorites have been included, also like ‘Away in a Manger’. Some of the traditional songs are also sung in my native language, Icelandic. I really look forward to the Christmas song book, and would like to improve and expand my guitar playing!
    Mahalo,
    Sigrun

Thanks Linda. Most of our traditional songs were originally composed in other languages first. The really good ones get translated into many languages, like ‘O Holy Night’. That was originally sung in French. The program is actually available now, although it’s not complete. I’m posting the new videos and emailing the music as it’s being produced.

Thank you so much Jean for the free song with guitar notes, Silent Night. I learned how to play in less than 5 minutes. May God continue to bless and keep you in Jesus name. I am still practicing the first Worship DVD that I ordered from you and will be ordering more. You truly are walking in the calling He gave you. Bless you, Cynthia Scott
