Want an easy way to tune your guitar? My favorite tuners are headstock tuners. You can accurately tune your guitar in any noisy environment. We now cary the Center Pitch Tuner/Metronome. Watch the video below to see how easy these are to use.
Unlike most guitar tuners, these work with many types of instruments, including a variety of string instruments plus brass and woodwind instruments.
Guitars are ‘C’ instruments and the tuning settings need to be set to ‘C’. The standard tuning for the note ‘A’ is 440. Most tuners will give you an option to change this pitch. When you’re playing with others, it’s safest to just use ‘A – 440 Hz’. This is the pitch that the first violinist uses at the beginning of a concert to give a pitch for all the other instruments to tune to.
- It attaches easily to guitars, bowed string instruments, brass, and woodwind.
- Perfect for acurately tuning in noisy environments.
- Easy to use.
- Includes a handy and very flexible metronome.
